[EX]CHANGING PERSPECTIVES 2.0

On March 9, our chapter co-hosted the second iteration of a public speaker panel series on Landscape Architecture in Hawaiʻi, in collaboration with the Master of Landscape Architecture program at UH Manoa and the UHM Student Chapter of ASLA.

The lineup of featured speakers included Hawaiʻi ASLA President-Elect Nancy Cassandro (Sustainable Design through Collaboration), Wendie McAllaster, ASLA (Cultural Landscape Report for Keauhou Bay), James Nicolay, ASLA (On the Drawing Boards—Heilongtan), and Dana Anne Yee, FASLA (Volunteering for our Hawai‘i Community). The event was moderated by School of Architecture Assistant Professor Phoebe White, ASLA.

Our members had an opportunity to mingle with speakers and MLA students during a pre-lecture reception hosted by the Hawaiʻi Chapter of ASLA.

Those interested in finding out more about landscape architecture education in Hawaiʻi should contact MLA Program Director & Professor Judith Stilgenbauer at jstilg@hawaii.edu.
