Spring Break Virtual Happy Hour (Recap)
March 18th we hosted the UH Manoa MLA students for a Spring Break Virtual Happy Hour with guest speaker Leland Miyano, artist, naturalist and landscape designer. Leland shared some of the mentors and influential people in his life that have shaped his environmentally holistic approach to art and landscape design. His desire to celebrate Hawaii as a very special and unique place is one of the hallmarks of his designs that is artistically expressed in stone, wood, ceramics and landscape design.
